Wrap my salvation in your arms;
He needs his sleep.
Hold him close and sing to him,
Among the gentle sheep.
He has little work to do,
But now he needs his sleep.
The breeze brings up a little chill;
He shivers in the dark.
Pull him tighter to your breast;
Let him hear your heart.
The moon will fall at close of night,
But day now has its start.
The night is calm and quiet;
The last of happy peace.
Soon we’ll find our trials
Rising in the East.
So take care tonight for all of us,
So we, with ease, can sleep.
Conductor score is 11x 14.
